| VILAMOURA OLD COURSE |
|
Opened in 1969, this is one of Algarve's oldest and best loved courses. Closed and substantially renovated during the 1990's and reopened in 1997 with a brand new clubhouse, the grand old pines for which the course is renowned remain the greatest hazard. There is one lake at the par-3 fourth, beware the lone pine and the bunker! Facilities include a driving range, club hire trolleys and buggies, and a clubhouse with pro-shop, restaurant and bar. Holes: 18, Par: 73, Length: 6,254 metres. The Hotel provides transport to the course when booking is made at the Reception desk.

VILAMOURA PINHAL COURSE

|
This excellent course will test your accuracy as greens tend to be on the small side and surrounded by mature umbrella pine trees. Since its opening in 1976, this has always been a very popular course with both residents and visitors, however, its appeal was further boosted in the 1980s and again in 2001 when renovation works resulted in the refurbishment of several holes, notably 5, 12 and 15. Facilities include, Driving range, putting green, trolleys and buggies, tuition and clubhouse with bar and restaurant. Holes: 18, Par 72, Length: 6,353 metres. | VILAMOURA LAGUNA COURSE |
|
Formerly known as Vilamoura III, this course comprises a variety of water hazards and well bunkered greens. Set in parkland and slightly more exposed than the other courses in this extensive complex, the prevailing winds play a significant part in the game. Holes: 18, Par: 72, Length: 6,111 metres. | VILAMOURA MILLENIUM COURSE |

Sharing a clubhouse with the Laguna course, this excellent course was opened in 2000. The first nine are completely new and designed by Martin Hawtree most being played among pine trees. The second nine, played over gently rolling park land, have been substantially re-designed and renovated and are part of the original 27 hole Laguna course. Facilities include putting and chipping greens, trolleys, buggies, club hire and tuition. Holes: 18, Par: 72, Length: 6,157 metres. | VILAMOURA VICTORIA COURSE |

Opened in 2004, the latest and perhaps most spectacular of Vilamoura's outstanding courses, the Victoria Course hosted the 2005 Golf World Cup. Peppered in places by carob and olive trees, the Course is located to the west of the Millennium course and is famed aside from its sheer beauty for its water hazards. VILA SOL

Though not strictly speaking one of the Vilamoura courses, Vila Sol lies only a few minutes east of Pinhal and is a truly magnificent course. Laid out among the fig, carob and pine trees, this course, over gently undulating terrain, hosted the Portuguese Open in 1992/3. In September 2000 a third 9 hole loop was added allowing three different combinations of 18 holes. With several water hazards, fast greens and some long par-4 holes, the course is a satisfying experience for golfers of all levels. Holes: 27, Par, 72, Length: 6, 335 metres. The Butch Harman School of Golf at Super Golf in Vilamoura is said to be one of the finest golf teaching facilities in Southern Europe. With a ratio of four instructors to only eight students per class, the School uses the most advanced video computer equipment available to analyse and assess each golfer's unique swing and ensure proper club fitting. The School caters for all ages and levels of player from beginners to seasoned professionals.
